Terms & Conditions
- There is a 2 hour minimum charge on all jobs, unless there is a 3 men job when there is a 3 hour minimum charge. After these times, rates are charged in half hour increments
- If you are quoted a fixed price job, the price allows 1 hour for loading/unloading at each end. Additional time will be charged at £35ph+vat (17.5%) for one man and £50ph+vat (17.5%) for two men.
- There is a minimum charge of £65 for goods going to the recycling centre(tip)
- Extra payment of £8 required if travelling through the congestion charge
- Parking must be arranged and is the responsibility of the customer. Any parking fines must be paid by the customer to the Driver on completion of the job
- Jobs running over the estimated completion time will be charged at half hour increments
- All payments must be completed upon delivery, either by cash or company cheques
- Job arrival times are estimated. Although we do our best to be on time, circumstances out of our control may cause delays
- We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to property after job is complete and payment is received
- All returning customers benefit of 10% discount (Monday to Friday 8AM to 6PM) of the total price, so do not hesitate to refer us to your friends and family.
- The total weight of any full load should not exceed 1300kg. Should this be exceeded and penalties incured from the authorities, the Customer will be liable to pay the penalty in full to ManVanLondon.
- All prices are subject to vat.
- All Goods in transit insurance claims are subject to an excess of £250.00 payable at beging of the claim. Weather the claim will be succesfull or not the execces fee would not be refundable.
- Our insurance which its included in the price quoted it's for goods in transit only and will only cover items while in transit and NOT any damages inside the property. Should you need further cover for your move, please contact a insurance broker and obtain appropiate insurance cover. Parking
Providing parking is the responsibility of the customer, (try to reserve a space for the van outside before it arrives or call the local council and get a suspension or permit where necessary) if there is no parking pre -arranged any parking fines received will be the responsibility of the customer and must be paid by the customer on completion.
Congestion & Toll Charges
There will be an extra charge of £8 when passing through the London Congestion Charge Zone, other congestion charge zones and tolls will be charged accordingly. (Unless otherwise stated)
Payment Requirements
Payment must be made in cash or company cheques upon completion. Bank transfers and Paypal transactions must be made at least 7days prior to moving day.
Delivery Times/Arrivals
We will do our best to arrive within the time scale stated, however arrival times are estimated.
Delays to pick-up/delivery times are sometimes unavoidable (due to traffic accidents, weather etc).
We do not accept any responsibility for any customer loses due to unforeseen or out of our control delivery/pick-up delays.
Changes in item numbers
You may incur extra charges if the actual amount of items on the day exceeds the amount of items that were included in your quote, a couple of boxes more would not normally cause an issue, however if you have under-estimated your items by more than this the driver will add on an extra charge (usually between £10 - £40) depending on the amount of items and time taken to load them.
Unforeseen Circumstances
We reserve the right to add extra costs due to unforeseen circumstances (eg.: waiting for keys or gaining entry, incorrect addresses, removal of windows and so on).
Your Responsibilities
We accept no responsibility for damage or breakage to items that have not been packed / protected by adequate means. Our insurers won't cover items that are not properly covered or bubblewraped
It is the customers responsibility to dismantle any unit/system/flat pack furniture and beds and this should be done before our arrival.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that items will fit in the new premises (eg: size of sofa and size of aperture) Our drivers will not be insured to remove doors or windows in such cases and it is up to the customer to organise a specialist if needed.Vehicle access
No parking available in close proximity to the property and cramped stair and hallway conditions where large items of furniture such as sofas will not fit.
Cancellation and Postponement
If you postpone or cancel after your booking is confirmed you will be charged 50% of the confirmed quote. If you postpone or cancel within 24hours of the date of the job you will be charged the value of the job in full. We reserve the right to cancel or change dates and times.Privacy Policy

Staff Abuse
Verbal or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
If the driver is forced to leave the job because of abuse from the customer verbal or otherwise the customer will still be liable to pay in full.
